Senior Full Stack Engineer

Matt (the founder in question) started his company in a niche he understood well. His aim was to make web performance data easier to understand and to create a tool so that other developers could immediately understand how the changes they made affected key web performance metrics across their websites. In a world where slow page loads ruin SEO rankings and increased bounce rates have a measurable negative impact on revenues, Matt’s tool is invaluable to those who come to rely on its easily understood dashboards.

With the help of a small team, Matt has successfully bootstrapped the business to a point where it is now turning a small profit. He is now looking to bring in a senior full-stack developer to increase product velocity while helping him free up his time for marketing and sales with the anticipated impact that this would increase the number of paying customers.

This is where you could step in and bring some technical firepower to bear on new feature development and complete rewrites on some of the application's more complex parts. This is an unapologetically senior role requiring real full-stack development skills and experience.

Some of the stuff you might work on; 

​

• Improving filter options in the dashboard 

• Taking ownership of complex new feature development eg. better surfacing of page speed data

• Replacing a 5-year-old alerting feature with a more flexible solution
